What inspired you to make this project?
I spend a lot of time on Arduino and other similar forums. I found that many beginner and intermediate makers can make a project that does one thing or the other, but struggle trying to make a project that does multiple things at once. The Serial Wombat project aims to enable makers to focus on their goal rather than firmware architecture by allowing offloading of common time-based tasks to special purpose firmware and microcontrollers
What are some of the challenges you have encountered and how did you address them?
Building a community and gathering feedback has been the biggest challenge. I'm currently addressing this by attending Makerfaires in order to increase exposure and talk to other makers.
