Here are a few important tidbits about Louisville Mini Maker Faire.

THE BASICS:

Where is it happening?

The Fourth Street Live area in downtown Louisville.

When is it happening?

Saturday, October 21st, 2017.  Family hours will be from 12 to 5 PM, but the fun will continue late into the night during “after hours,” starting around 6 PM.

What does it cost to attend?

Absolutely nothing!

What will be there?

Makers–creators of things–and their creations.  That means builders, engineers, bakers, programmers, jewelry-makers, business owners, costumers, and everyone else who likes to make cool stuff!

Who should attend?

The family hours are specifically geared toward family-friendly interaction.  Our extended evening hours allow the celebration of creativity to continue among a primarily grown-up audience.

There will be something for everyone!

I have more questions–who do I ask?

Contact us at makerfairelou@gmail.com with your questions.

FOR EXHIBITORS/PRESENTERS:

I would like to bring my thing–what do I do now?

Great!  Just sign up here to give us more information about what you’re bringing.  You will get a response once your entry is approved.

How long am I supposed to stay?

We’d love it if you stayed the entire time!  But we understand that some may only be interested in staying for the family hours.  Departure can be arranged accordingly, but major equipment may have to be retrieved later so as not to disrupt our continuing event.  Specific details for setup and teardown will be provided as we approach the date.

Is it okay if I present a crazy contraption that has special safety and display requirements?

We’d love to have you!  Please contact us at makerfairelou@gmail.com as soon as possible so we can figure out a plan that works for everyone.

I have more questions–who should I ask?

Contact us at makerfairelou@gmail.com with ANY questions!  More information will be distributed to exhibitors as the date approaches.

See you at the Faire!
