Tinkering with CAD and 3D printers for teachers and parents
Teachers and parents will learn how to tinker with 3D printers for their kids. We will demonstrate how to operate 3D printers, fix/repair technical problems, and design basic 3D models using CAD (TinkerCAD & SketchUp) to teach geometry lessons.
Sam Choo
Sam Choo is a visiting professor at the University of Kentucky. He taught middle/high school math/STEM in Kentucky and North Carolina and worked as a research scientist at the University of Oregon and Amplify Education. Sam has been working to incorporate 3D printing technology with STEM content and conducted workshops and training sessions.
